Day 45 Workout:
Just the usual morning walk. And while walking today, something occurred to me.

Why can't others do Intermittent Fasting? Someone remarked that her heavy husband can't fast because he has to work, and that he won't be able to think clearly at work if he will fast. Another friend says that fasting makes her hungry and will absolutely need "something" while at work. Seems to mean the same thing - the NEED to eat at work.

In contrary, Dr. Jason Fung says he feels that fasting allows him to do MORE work. His secret is to keep himself busy throughout the day that he even forgets to eat - thus even extending his fast.

What gives? Could it be that in the first two persons mentioned above, the eating at work is actually "stress eating"? I agree with Dr. Fung that if you're just too busy, you forget to eat and even forget the time! But I'm guessing he was referring to being busy on activities that you do ENJOY.

If you DON'T enjoy the activity (like, for instance, work that you hate), it stresses you too much. Then you go to food for comfort resulting in stress eating.

Does it follow, therefore, that:
If you're able to fast, you probably enjoy your work. If you can't fast, it probably means you hate your work or are stressed at work?😉

Weight Tracker
71.2 kg recorded at 6:00 am today. A measly decrease. It's the sticking point again. With the inclusion of the afternoon bread snacks today, tomorrow may not be any better.

Today I followed the 19:5 protocol for Intermittent Fasting.
